About The Author...

Imbued with a love of words since childhood, Grant Shumaker is a writer out to leave his mark and share his stories with the world. A Penn State graduate with a BA in Advertising and minors in Psychology and English, Grant was born and raised in Midlothian, Virginia, where his love of advertising emerged after working on a wellness campaign for a local clinic in high school.

As a veteran of multiple agencies, Grant has learned a lot about all sides of agency life and what's required to keep everything moving smoothly. His position in Production and Project Management at BCF taught him about agency workflow and managing projects and time wisely, while his work as a copywriter at The Meridian Group and Custom Ink has given him the experience and practice needed to craft original and compelling copy.

While agency life is a blast, Grant's true passion in life is the creation and sharing of stories. Through his short stories and homebrewed D&D campaigns, he aspires to turn the adventures in his head into something others can experience and feel. Grant is also a fan of drawing, graphic design, film, technology, and music (a topic that's dangerous to bring up, especially if you mention his favorite band: Muse).
