Work By Channel
The classic portfolio page. Here are some of my favorite projects and examples of my work, conveniently organized by channel for your viewing pleasure.
Marketing Emails
This was part of a campaign that announced the launch of a new offering. I was in charge of developing language for how we talked about the offering externally and this email included lots of the language that would be used everywhere across marketing channels.

In tests between expert testimonials and product descriptions, our staff pick emails heavily favored product descriptions. I spearheaded a test to see if we could drive more engagement with a single expert’s testimonial, and with the help of a dynamic personality, I was able to successfully beat benchmarks and launch a new style of email: Cori’s Picks.

After identifying that Pens were a hot selling item, we pushed a marketing email to capitalize on the trend. The engaging subject line, headline, and informative body copy pushed this to perform better than similar product specific emails the team sent in a similar timeframe.

Paid Social
This is probably my favorite paid social ad I wrote for Custom Ink in my eight years there. Each card references a song that connects to the design on the shirt to communicate the idea of building a summer playlist. I’m sure the first two are pretty obvious, but how many others can you guess?
Package Inserts
This trifold package insert featured a die cut t-shirt on the front that could be used as a frame for photos. It also included a list of use cases on the back that we refreshed seasonally for customers to check off and share with us. The concept behind this mailer was a joint collaboration between a designer and myself.
In 2024, the company identified a potential for a shift in package insert messaging from low-funnel content to middle-funnel content. This mailer, sent in the fall of 2024 to provide customers with ideas for winter orders, sought to address the question of “why Custom Ink?”
Catalogs
After the success of our 2024 Holiday Gift Guide digital catalog, the Director of Marketing Content and I whipped up two additional digital catalogs that focused on business uniforming options. The Uniforms catalog is a general business catalog while the Healthcare catalog focuses specifically on uniforms for that sector. My director did the designs and product descriptions while I wrote the section content.
Landing Pages
Custom Ink Design Services Landing Page Revamp
Custom Ink’s design services offering suffered from a lack of clarity and awareness. This landing page refresh was done in order to better explain the offering and how it works, as well as provide a fresh new site experience for customers who navigated to the page from our callout on the site’s homepage.
Fun fact: the original design services landing page was one of my first projects at Custom Ink, so I was revising my own work!
Uniforming Landing Page
One of Custom Ink’s biggest goals in my last few years was expanding our share of the custom business uniform market. This landing page was the first of a series of segment-specific pages aiming to inform business customers about the company’s offering and convert more one-time customers into repeat customers.
Blogs
2021 was a rough year for a lot of us. Many companies were still recovering from the pandemic, and we were all still worried about a resurgence of COVID-19. Heading into 2022, I wanted to instead communicate the hopeful idea that it was time to take back our lives and start living free again. Coincidentally, I’d been hearing a lot about Taylor Swift taking back her music from my sister and some coworkers—and alas, this trends blog was born.
You can view all of the blogs I wrote for Custom Ink here.
I was contacted by Ivy Clinicians in 2023 to provide some educational blog content surrounding work in the field of emergency medicine. For these blogs, I received information from a member of their team and turned it into SEO-optimized blog posts to help them connect with their audience. Writing for the medical field was a new challenge, and while the work was difficult, I learned a lot.
In total I provided 14 blogs for Ivy Clinicians—from Feb 22 to Aug 7th—before they stopped updating their blog.
Sales Decks
Aside from writing high performing sales outreach campaigns, I also forged relationships with many members of the sales team by providing pitch decks and resources they could use to sell Custom Ink as a B2B partner. This deck was a condensed version of a much larger deck I worked on previously, and became the go-to sales resource for multiple years.
